A fire broke out at a chemical warehouse in Gazipur’s Sreepur upazila this evening.

The fire broke out around 7:28pm at the warehouse of ASM Chemical Company, Ershad Hossain, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters confirmed to The Daily Star.

Nine fire fighting units are working to douse the fire, he informed.

Information on causality and damage caused by the fire could not be known immediately, he added.
