Body of a newborn baby boy was found in a bag near Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka last night.

On information, police recovered the body of the one-day-old child around 10:00pm from the pile of garbage and sent it to Dhaka Medical College morgue, said Rashedul Hasan, a sub-inspector of Shahbagh Police Station.
